Caramelized Onion & Chive Dip

Caramelized Onion & Chive Dip

Ingredients
- 2 cups Yellow Onion, diced
- 2 TB Unsalted Butter
- 1/2 cup Chives, chopped
- 1/2 cup Sour Cream
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
Instructions
- Heat a large pot to medium low heat.
- Add in butter and onions and season with kosher salt.
- Allow the onions to cook down and caramelize for about 25-35 minutes.
- Every 5 minutes, add a splash of water to release any brown bits on the bottom of the pan.
- Remove the onions to a mixing bowl and let them cool down.
- Once cooled, add in remaining ingredients and combine.
- Serve the dip with potato chips.
