How To Make Chocolate Ganache Blondies

To begin, melt butter in the microwave and let cool for a couple minutes.

Once the butter has cooled, add in the eggs, vanilla and brown sugar and whisk together.

Add in the flour and salt.

Combine ingredients with a spatula. The batter should be thicker than brownie batter, but not as thick as cookie dough.

Spread the batter in an 8×8 inch pan lined with parchment paper and cooking spray.

Bake at 350F for about 40 minutes, or until the edges are slightly golden and the top is just set. Allow the blondies to cool for about 30 minutes.

Once the blondies have cooled, place the Ghirardelli Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips in a heat proof bowl.

Bring the heavy cream to a simmer over medium heat and then pour over the Ghirardelli Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips.

Gently mix the Ghirardelli Bittersweet 60% Cacao Baking Chips and cream together with a spatula (whisking will create air bubbles) until the mixture has combined into a smooth ganache.

Pour ganache over the blondies and place the pan in the fridge for about 10 minutes or until the ganache has set.

Remove blondies from the fridge and lightly sprinkle with sea salt.

Cut into squares and serve.
