Miso Pork Lettuce Wraps

Miso Pork Lettuce Wraps

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds Ground Pork
  • 5 Garlic Cloves, thinly sliced
  • 2 TB White Miso Paste
  • 2 TB Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 TB Rice Vinegar
  • 1 cup Scallions, chopped
  • Leafy Lettuce, for wraps
  • Sliced Fresno Chilis and Chopped Cucumber, to garnish
  • Avocado Oil
  • Kosher Salt

Instructions

  1. Whisk together miso paste, soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar,
  2. In a large pan on medium heat, drizzle in some avocado oil and add in the garlic.
  3. Once the garlic just starts to turn lightly golden, remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Turn heat to high, and spread pork out in the pan. Leave the pork alone to brown, then flip to brown on the other side, then start breaking it up.
  5. Once the pork is broken up, add the garlic back in along with the sauce and scallions.
  6. Toss everything together and until the pork is cooked through and season with a pinch of salt if needed.
  7. Serve with lettuce, chilis and chopped cucumber.
